The reason we need this is that working at an accounting firm requires a dynamic thinker. We can’t just memorize what buttons to push and when. We need team members who know how to manage many different businesses with varying rules, treatments, and chart of accounts.

This involves a skills test relevant to the role. Here’s what the application process includes:

• Providing proof that you are a certified (CPB or CPA)

• Providing Your LinkedIn URL (instead of a resume).

• Answering an accounting question with a written explanation.

• Providing some important details about your experience- are you in canada? Have you worked in an accounting firm in the past? For how many years?

• Sharing the URL of your last accounting firm

Take part in our
values fit videos

We’ll ask some questions based on our values and you’ll record videos to answer. We do this via a video interview platform called Sparkhire. Don’t worry, we’ll send you a link to record your videos!

Interview with Mike

If we think you’re a good values fit for the team, we’ll set up a virtual interview mainly just to talk and get to know you better. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions too.

Bonus Step 4:
Of course, if you make it through the 3 stage application process, we’ll send an offer letter!
